A downloadable game
When we played our game on Thursday with the entire class, there were some aspects of the game that the majority of people seemed to understand. However, some confusion persisted while we were playing our game when we were in the middle of playing. For instance, there was not a required rule that pertained to the players on when they needed to draw. The rule was that each player needed 6 cards in their deck at any point. Bust this rule did get misinterupted. Some of us in the group just thought to draw when it would be our next turn. However, some other people during the game drew when their turn was over. This conflict became a problem since the draw rule was not fully established. Some could say the game could have been more interesting that way but for the sake of simplicity, we decided to draw after the player's turn ended. Other than that incident. It felt as if our game was easy to understand and had a good general reaction from the people watching. One part that people understood right away was the way to win the game. All the player had to do was to just obtain three 6's in their hand by any means necessary. By doing that they win the game. One factor of the game that people relied on was to get as many tokens at the start of the game as possible before searching for the number six cards. This was because some of the power cards that required 1 or 2 tokens seemed to be useless to use compared to the cards that required 3 tokens. For instance, there was one card that was only worth 1 token that allowed the player to see another person's deck. However you couldn't take their cards compared to another card that was worth 3 tokens and even if you saw their cards, there was no guarantee that they would have a 6 in their hand. So it could just be a waste of a token. So for the majority of us playing, getting matching cards and getting tokens out of them seemed to be the best option when we all started playing. It was good to get general feedback from the people who played our game and it was interesting to see if our game was easy to understand when we presented it to the class.
