MarkTech.io Week 1- An introduction

Hello. I am very excited to start taking this class. When I first looked at it, it didn't seem like any regular classes I have seen before. Because of that, I was interested in what the class was going to be about. So far with our first in-person class already finished, I can say that I think I will enjoy the course.  But let me switch it over to myself and what I find fun to do. So I tend to change my game type depending on the mood I'm feeling or based on what is popular at the moment. With college starting back up, I have been in the mood for a lot of shooter-type games mostly due to the fact that they fit well into the short bits of free time I get in college. If I have a lot of free time on my hands then I would go into any adventure-type game where the main objective is to explore the gameworld at your disposal. I am from the Dallas area where there are a lot of technical places that have games. Because of this, it has always felt like I lived around a gaming environment all my life. The place keeps getting more technical with each and every year that goes by. I'm glad to be a part of this class and I hope I get to learn more throughout the semester!
